This is hard work. I’m trying to film enough to create something substantial while also enjoying time to myself. It’s a challenge, but I dig it. Below is my second vlog, which touches on my time at Taste of Home and also an impromptu Zagreb tour from Sandy, the infamous basement bartender. He stays true to his word – he is a happy guy and he made my experience in Zagreb unforgettable.
After nearly missing my bus and forgetting my passport at the Chill Out Hostel, I made it to Zadar. I don’t know how I managed to plan such a trip (without really knowing anything and just hoping for the best) but shit, I’ve done well! I somehow landed myself right in the middle of Old City Zadar, my AirBNB feels like my own private castle, and I have about four cafes surrounding my front door. I don’t know what else I need. Except maybe Dash.
Side note: Thank you to everyone who has commented and texted me about this vlog project. It’s something I’ve always wanted to dabble with but never had the guts to do so. The kind words and encouragement mean so much – I don’t feel like a complete asshole talking to myself anymore. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
